Sweet for Spring

So nice and warm yesterday, I decided to stop by a Newport springtime favorite.
Good Thursday morning, almost to the weekend. Rob here.
Sweet Tooth is on 11th Street and when you walk inside it feels like walking back in time. It's like a 1950's style soda shop.

There's all kinds of great candy, chocolates, and ice cream, but its famous for its ice cream balls. What?! I don't even know what those are. The store is owned by Fox19 producer Carrie Bailey's great aunt and uncle. It's been around since 1972. She told me ice cream balls are an ice cream covered snow cone ball. They're not available until after Easter though. The sundaes sure looked good.

Everything is homemade and delicious. I hear people who came here as kids, now come as adults and bring their own kids. Start a family tradition this spring. Make Sweet Tooth a regular sweet stop.
BTW Frank's back. You can tell by all the pictures he posted of himself on his blog entry today. :)
